Welcome to the 3rd Annual Waco Winter UIL Invitational to be held at Waco High School on December 9th, 2023. We will offer all traditional UIL speaking events (CX debate, LD debate, Persuasive, Informative, Prose and Poetry. These tournaments are intended for schools or teams that prefer "UIL style" forensics. In addition, we will be offering duet acting. Students will be allowed to cross-enter.

All missing judge fees are $150

1 judge for every 2 entries or less for CX

TOPICS

CX Debate: Policy debate will use the 2023 - 2024 topic.

Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase fiscal redistribution in the United States by adopting a federal jobs guarantee, expanding Social Security, and/or providing a basic income.

LD Debate: LD Debate will use the UIL Fall 2023 topic.

Resolved:Wealth inequality in the United States is detrimental to democracy.
